Our Founder

Deborah R. Myers, MSN, ANP-BC, APRN-BC, CWS, FACCWS, is the owner and operator of Myers Wound Care Consultants, bringing more than 35 years of experience in wound care to her practice. A nurse practitioner, certified wound specialist, and former owner of Cali Wound Care, Deborah combines clinical expertise with the practical insight of an experienced healthcare business owner. Her background includes graduate education at Case Western Reserve University and a career spanning diverse healthcare settings.

Under Deborah’s leadership, the Myers Wound Care Consultants team has managed wounds across more than 75 nursing homes, hospice and home health agencies, assisted living facilities, acute-care hospitals, and rehabilitation hospitals throughout Ohio, California, Nevada, and Idaho. This breadth of experience brings an understanding of the unique challenges faced by patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams across different levels of care.

Deborah’s approach combines decades of hands-on experience with state-of-the-art wound care techniques and evidence-based practices. Through her consulting work, she helps healthcare professionals evaluate current approaches, understand advances in wound management, and identify practical strategies that support healing and individualized patient care. Her focus is on connecting clinical knowledge with solutions that healthcare teams can apply in their everyday practice.

Now based in White Bird, Idaho, Deborah continues to build on a career dedicated to wound care. Through Myers Wound Care Consultants, she brings experienced guidance, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to advancing the quality of care for people living with wounds.
